Vaccine Passport – A great step for travel.
Like it is said that every dark cloud has a silver lining, and every dark tunnel has a light at the end.
It seems most likely that the silver lining for the pandemic is the VACCINE, and of course for travel it is the VACCINE PASSPORT.
Since the world would like to get back on track, it is only possible to ‘Open it’s doors’ to the world and to Tourism.
Since tourism is a large chunk of revenue for most countries, they will have to make arrangements for welcoming foreigners for various reasons like Student traffic, tourism etc.
EUROPE – Has already started using the Vaccine passport, and is accepting mostly its green zone safe list of citizens, but will open up fully to vaccinated tourists.
For Vaccination
You have to register at your given Government directed website to register your names and you will have to choose a document for identification – PLEASE CHOOSE A VALID PASSPORT ONLY. As the passport number will be displayed on the certificate of your country. See image as below where the ID verification is a passport, and the passport number is also indicated. This will definitely make easier to get your Vaccine passport.
In India you have to log into CoWin -Click here to for details. where you will be directed to type your Mobile number and after a verification of a OTP you will be able to book a slot for vaccination at a nearby place.
Next – When you go for your vaccination do not forget to carry your valid passport so as to allow the Vaccination staff to verify your passport and type in the details of your passport.
After vaccination, you will be receiving an e-certificate with details of your vaccination along with your name and your passport number as identification.

What is a vaccine passport ? A vaccine passport is proof that you have been vaccinated. The proof may be in a digital form, or a downloaded print with a QR code, or a certificate. The vaccine passport is a fine balance between protecting the citizens form another outbreak , and to connect with the economy.
Once your local Vaccine certificate is procured, there are various portals you can log in again with details of your local vaccine certificate.
EU Covid Vaccine Passport – The Schengen countries which are a total of about 26 Countries have a single body had issued a statement that tourists would have to apply for a Schengen travel Pass which had to be applied in the link CLICK HERE
IATA Travel Pass – IATA is a governing body of the travel trade, be it a travel agent or an airline or for a cargo agent. IATA is directly involved with the day to day sales of such agencies. The idea of a travel passport was first mooted by IATA since almost a year ago, and has been in testing since then.

Common Pass – Airport Council International, a group representing almost 2,000 airports around the world, has signed on to use Common Pass
