SOME TIPS TO ENSURE A GREAT HOLIDAY

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dear Guests,

At the outset let me thank you for joining our European Tour & giving us the Opportunity to serve you. To help you make the best of your holiday, permit us to give you a few suggestions and general hints.

Penknives, scissors etc. should be placed in suitcases in the cargo baggage and not in hand baggage.

BAGGAGE

  1. Porterage is not included for baggage at the hotels.
  2. Airlines allow a maximum of 20 Kg per person & 01 piece of cabin baggage, weighing not more then 05 Kg per person.
  3. Travel Light. This way you will be more comfortable. Carry Wash and wear clothes to save on laundry and do not carry linen or towels as they will be provided at each Hotel.
  4. Please take extra care of your belongings during the tour, as every country that you travel to, is likely to have thieves and bag-snatchers.
  5. TAKE A FOTO OF YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU TRAVEL AND AVOID TAKING BLACK COLOURED BAGS. ALSO PUT A RIBBON OR SOMETHING FOR EASY SPOTTING.

YOUR DOCUMENTS

Please take extra care of your documents while on tour as every major tourist spot has its share of bag snatchers, pick pockets etc. please take copies of your passport, air tickets, insurance and mail it to yourself so you have a copy in your mobile. ( please do not lose your mobile in this case)

COMMUNICATION –

We recommend you carry an international sim card and SWITCH YOUR DATA OFF in your mobile as they are very expensive.

You can use free wifi at various airports, restaurants, hotels etc. but in emergencies like getting lost while on tour, we strongly recommend you buy a simcard for the countries you are visiting.

ELECTRICALS

Please check with which kind of adaptors to buy to charge your laptops, cameras, mobiles etc. also carry adequate batteries and data cards, pen drives as they are all expensive abroad. ( chroma usually has all the adaptors.)

If you require tea/coffee in bed, we also recommend you carry a ½ liter water tea maker and carry along premixed tea/coffee powder for easy tea/coffee for bed teas as most hotels in Europe have discontinued tee/coffee machines in their rooms. The same machines are available at any electronics shop,

YOUR COACH or TRANSPORTATION

  1. While travelling from one city to another by coach. The journeys may stretch as long as eve 11 hours, we will be making adequate stops for refreshments, toilets ets.
  2. Since, most of your travel would be by coach, we have carefully chosen an air-conditioned coach for your comfort.
  3. We request you to assist us in keeping the coach neat and clean, so that all of you can be comfortable during your holiday in Europe. Please do not eat foodstuff in the coach, as there is a possibility of some leftover spilling and oiling the coach.
  4. We regret that, in the interest of fellow customers, smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the coach.

HOTELS

  1. Your Hotels have been specially chosen, keeping in mind the location and space availability. Utmost care is taken to ensure accommodation of good quality.
  2. Most Hotel rooms are air-conditioned and may have facilities like mini-bar, pay television channels, telephones etc. Please note that these facilities are not complimentary and have to be paid for, based on actual usage.
  3. Sometimes, hotels offer the facilities of complimentary safe deposit lockers, which can be availed of.
  4. Please ensure that there is no damage done to the hotel room during your stay, since the same would be charged to you directly by the hotel.
  5. While checking into the Hotels wait in the lobby or coach as advised by the Tour Manager. Crowding near him would only delay the check-in-process.

PUNCTUALITY

  1. Your itinerary has been specially designed to ensure that you get the maximum coverage during your holiday. To achieve this, we require your co-operation in being punctual.
  2. Sightseeing as well as various excursions has been pre-booked for a particular duration and thus, if the group is delayed, the delay would actually deprive you of your own sightseeing time. Local guides have been pre-booked for certain duration & cannot extend their services beyond the specific time limits. Please do understand that punctuality is solely in your interest, to ensure that you have the full benefit of all services included in the package. Very often, the entire group may be delayed and may lose valuable time or opportunity because of a few people delaying the whole group. LASTLY THE COACH CAPTAIN MAY LEAVE BACK, AS HE HAS A LONG SCHEDULE TO COMPLETE AND NO COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU ARE LEFT BACK DUE TO YOUR DELAYING.

ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO BE CARRIED ON YOUR TOUR

  1. Please carry sunglasses, comfortable walking shoes, an alarm clock, an additional pair of spectacles [if you are using one] an umbrella, two pin charger for your mobile as well as for digital camera because you will not get three pin plug in Europe, camera and camera rolls and medicines with prescriptions, if required.
  2. Please carry photocopies of your passport, tickets and valid visas, and keep them separately from the original. Eg. Photocopy in the suitcase and the original passport on your person.
  3. PEASE CARRY EMPTY BOTTLES TO REFILL AFTER SECURITY AT AIRPORTS AS WATER IS EXPENSIVE. ALSO CARRY EMPTY BOTTLES FOR YOUR TOUR.
