- Paris was initially a small island (Ile de la cite) which is now known for its Notre Dam Cathedral
- It would take you around 200 days to see each of the 35,000 works of art on display at the museum if you took 30 seconds to see each and every piece, according to Widjaja.
- The oldest bridge in Paris is called the new bridge ( Pont Neuf)
- The ring road in Paris is 35 kms in length which encircles Paris. and is known as the Boulevard Periferique.
- The Eiffel tower was actually meant to be a temporary construction to be pulled down later. It was not popular earlier and people protested to have it pulled down.
- It costs more money to have a coffee outside a cafe in Paris than inside !
- The famous cabaret of Paris the LIDO show , hires girls having almost exact lengths of thighs , shins etc. so the can can dances look extremely co ordinated.
